Path to Salvation is a ministry that is bringing the light of the Gospel to those in Titanyen, Haiti and surroundings areas. This ministry began with a dream of a man, named Pastor Wesley Altime, who felt God was calling him to nurture children the way he was fed as a young boy. Pastor Wesley felt strongly that God had given him a vision to open a feeding center for children.
In 2018, after much prayer, he left a paid position as a pastor in Titanyen to establish “Make Christ Known by Action,” (MCKA) which met in the yard of his home weekly on Saturdays. Children from all over came to hear the Gospel, get a meal, sing worship songs together, and enjoy playtime with their friends. This decision was a total act of faith since he did not have funding in place, but trusted that God would provide for the program.
With help of supporters from various areas of the United States who began to partner with him, the program continues today with around 200+ children attending weekly, now at the newly built open air sanctuary. As the children’s ministry began to grow, Pastor Wesley noticed that parents of the children he served were hungry for the Gospel as well. Their children began to share with them what they were learning at the feeding center. The children began asking Pastor Wesley if they could bring their parents to meet with him on Sundays. He began holding Sunday services in his yard to worship God and share the Gospel. Several of the parents gave their lives to Christ and were baptized. Path to Salvation Church was formed.
Pastor Wesley began holding a two-hour service on Sunday mornings at 8 AM in his yard. As more parents began attending, other gatherings were added such as Bible studies, prayer meetings, small group and worship team meetings, choir rehearsals, and Sunday service planning — all within his yard! Additionally, every Saturday night, five men from the church slept in his yard so that they could rise early on Sunday morning to arrange seating and make other preparations for services.
Pastor Wesley began to pray about land for a church building to relieve some of the stress on his family. Shortly thereafter, he was made aware of some property that was for sale near his home. As he continued to pray, he met a man from the United States that helped raise funds to purchase the property for the church.
After just a few short months, with additional funds raised from the United States and many hours of work by volunteers who had been attending services in Pastor Wesley's yard, an open air sanctuary was constructed. Now, church services are held there every Sunday morning and the feeding program has a permanent home, with storage, restrooms, water tank and a cooking area!
An eight-member Board of Directors, located throughout the United States, oversees the 501c3, raising funds for MCKA, church staff salaries, building supplies, school sponsorships, and more.

Wesley grew up in Titanyen, Haiti. His family practiced Voodoo. His father was a witch doctor. As a little boy, Wesley experienced both spiritual hunger and physical hunger. One day, Wesley was invited to a local feeding center. It was there that he received the nourishment for both his body and his soul. He clearly remembers the day he accepted Christ as His Savior. As the Lord guided Wesley down this incredible path, it has been his relentless passion to feed the children and to glorify God by making disciples who KNOW, LOVE, GROW and GO for Christ.
